A NICHE PERFUME BLOG BY WALES PERFUMERY

Welcome to The Perfumer’s Notebook. Wales Perfumery’s niche perfume blog, written by perfumer Louise Smith from her lab in Monmouthshire. Here you’ll find fragrance guides, perfumer’s notes, the stories behind our scents, Wales Perfumery news and events, and an honest exploration of the world of niche perfume.

Whether you’re new to artisan fragrance or a lifelong collector, pull up a chair. There’s always something worth exploring.

Wales Perfumery News & Events

This is where you’ll find everything that’s happening with Wales Perfumery. From pop-up events and market appearances to new launches, studio news, and updates from behind the scenes, this is our space to share what we’ve been up to and what’s coming next.

We’re a small, independent Welsh perfumery based in Monmouth, and everything we do is rooted in a genuine love of fragrance and the landscape that surrounds us here in Wales. We think that context matters, so as well as sharing practical news and event information, we’ll also give you a sense of the story behind what we make and why we make it.

If you’d like to meet us in person, this is the best place to keep an eye on. We appear at events and markets across Wales throughout the year, and we occasionally host special workshops and experiences from our studio. There’s nothing quite like experiencing fragrance face to face, and we always love the conversations that happen when people get the chance to smell something new.

We’ll also share news about new fragrances and collections as they arrive, along with any collaborations or projects we’re particularly excited about.

To make sure you never miss an event or announcement, you’re welcome to sign up to our newsletter below. Subscribers also receive 10% off their first fragrance purchase, which is a nice bonus.

We’re proud to be doing what we do here in Wales, and we’re glad you’re following along.
